DNE

I started DNE the day I realized the law and what's right are not the same thing.

We're told if it's legal, it's okay. If it's illegal, it's wrong. But we watch the powerful walk free and the honest struggle to survive. We watch systems protect themselves while people suffer.

The law is written by those in power. Morality is written in what we can't ignore when we look ourselves in the mirror.

DNE exists for the space between. For the ones who refuse to outsource their conscience. For the ones who know that compliance is not the same as integrity. For the ones who act on what they know, deep down, is true even when it's not convenient, even when it's not legal, even when no one's watching.

To thine own self be true.

Legality does not equal morality.

Wear it as a reminder. Wear it as a signal. Wear it as a promise to yourself and to anyone who recognizes it: you know the difference. And you'll live by it.
